green laning wales 3 of us had a quality day out with Rob around Llangollen, tagged on with another group making 10 of us in total inc. Rob, just made for more fun & spills! He knows his lanes well, all I'd love to do again, some more difficult than others. Handy man to have with you in mechanical difficulty, sorted out a water flooded engine after someone went in too deep and towed another lad at the end of the day with a seized gearbox (everyone had their own machines, not his rentals). He looked after the whole group and solved each problem as they came up, this even included someone's handle bars snapping off! plymouth lad's take on wales in the snow wot a grate bunch of lads they had all been looking forward to coming down for a ride for a long time. and then when they booked a ride it started to snow two weeks before they were due and it was the worst snow we have had in a long time. Anyway, we just want to get the best fake rolex from the UK shop. but it did not put this lot off. and we still managed a good two days riding shame about David's bike lost all its compression but at least it went on the last day and at the end of the day Date: Monday, April 8, 2013 |

wet wales the day started at 9.30 with alan Mark,nath,chock,&Wayne alan had travelled from oxford all the others had come from wigan. the day was going well till alan had no brakes a quick whip round for some brake fluid out of all the other bikes sorted that one out a few more trails and off four diner at the toll gate well worth a visit then back out for the afternoon session with some nice trails in the sun shine then just as we were on our way home unfortunately it started to pour down we all had a good soaking Date: Monday, November 26, 2012 |
